God's Timing and a little about me

I am often amazed at all of the things God has opened my eyes to since putting all my trust, hope, love, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I loved hearing and reading the stories of Jesus when I was a child I often sang the song "Jesus Loves Me" out loud in times I was scared because I believed Jesus knew I wanted him there with me and he would be; protecting me and loving me at the same time. As an adult, I often forget I want him that close to me to be my protector, comforter, and my redeemer. I get so caught up in my life I forget to praise him for all that he has given me and provided for me. Best of all God has given me a strong and courageous husband who seeks to know God and understand his presence in his life; also I have 4 wonderful children, they are my joy the "fruit" of my life. I have 3 sons who are 21, 19, and 18...)wow all adults), and a daughter who is 16 this is a new season in my life, they make me so proud. My oldest child is Austin can make anything out of steel, he can fabricate and create things I don't understand, if it has a loud engine or can crash into something he is right there! He has a heart of "gold" he loves his siblings and me with all that he can give and it shows. He has been through some real tough trials and comes out of them shining for God, knowing he has a family who prays for him almost every day. Derek, he is my farmer boy to the bone. He loves to hunt, fish, raise animals, and work the ground with big noisy tractors. He enjoys the simple things in life and being part of feeding the world. He learns things the hard way but he is fiercely loyal to his family and those he loves and cares about. God bless the farmer. Collin is my youngest boy, he is just starting to understand independence and it scares him to think of himself as an adult. I tell him it is okay to be scared but not to be afraid because God and him will figure it out. He also loves his family with a deep and generous heart, he is not afraid to be affectionate toward us in front of others and I love that about him. Last but not least is Britney...oh Britney she is my princess in cowgirl boots. I tell her all the time she has all 3 of her brothers' personality traits and one of her own. Brit (as we call her) is fearless, she wants to prove she is just as tough as the big boys. For the most part, she can hold her own, and she is so smart (genius level), and she loves challenges she takes them head-on NO FEAR! Just the way God wants us to live fearless knowing that "we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us". My husband Gabriel is my angel for sure, he keeps me level and feet on the ground, he makes me laugh, smile, hope, and dream, but most of all he loves me unconditionally.  I have a wonderful job (a teacher) I couldn't imagine doing anything else that didn't include children. God has taken me on an extraordinary adventure in teaching over the last 10 years and I feel it has just begun.
How can I forget to praise God for those things? They by far are the most important in my life. We have an 80-acre farm that used to belong to my grandparents, and my parents, and now my family and me. The farm was in desperate need of repair when we purchased it. It has come a long way but we have so much more to do. We believe God will help provide what we need and we will figure it out step by step. On our farm, we have 3 goats, 8 chickens, 3 ducks, 2 guinea fowl, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and about 65 chicks.  And that is my summer vacation (haha). We will forever be thankful to the Lord on high for all the blessing he has given and the promise we will be reunited with Him again one day in heaven.
